The social reality in the face of the problem of suffering

Abstract

The objective of this research article is to present a first approach to the problem of violence that is present in poverty. In our view, poverty is a mode or form of violence that causes harm, pain and suffering to the people who embody it in a social reality. Since it is a social phenomenon, poverty must be studied within a social ontology. This approach leads us to think of it as a phenomenon that fosters inequality and leads to suffering.
